Patryk Mamczur

Patryk Mamczur – Ph.D. student at the Faculty of History at the Jagiellonian University; a graduate of history, musicology, and American studies at the JU. His research interests include British and American popular music of the 1960s, its influence on Polish big-beat music of that era, as well as the methodology of popular music studies. He is a fan of psychedelic rock, garage rock and blues.

Patryk Mamczur – doktorant na Wydziale Historycznym Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego, absolwent historii, muzykologii i amerykanistyki na tej uczelni. W swoich badaniach zajmuje się między innymi brytyjską i amerykańską muzyką popularną z lat 60. XX wieku, jej wpływem na polską twórczość bigbeatową z tego samego okresu, a także metodologią popular music studies. W wolnym czasie najchętniej słucha rocka psychodelicznego, garage rocka i bluesa.
