Dorota Kulczycka – dr hab., prof. UZ, historian and literary theorist. She works at the Institute of Polish Philology at the University of Zielona Góra (UZ). The author of: Jestem jak człowiek, który we śnie lata. O symbolice ptaków w twórczości Juliusza Słowackiego [I am like a man who flies in his dream. The symbolism of birds in the works of Juliusz Słowacki] (2004); “Powiedzieć to wszystko, o czym milczę”. O poezji Stanisława Barańczaka [“To say everything I am silent about.” Stanisław Barańczak’s poetry] (2008); Obraz Ziemi Świętej w dobie romantyzmu [The Image of the Holy Land in Romanticism] (2012); W stronę Orientu. Polscy i francuscy romantycy o Bliskim Wschodzie [Towards the Orient. Polish and French Romantics on the Middle East] (2012); and Ziemia Święta w dobie romantyzmu. Antologia [The Holy Land Romanticism. An Anthology] (2013). Her research interests also include the links between literature and Polish and foreign film. She is the co-editor of Literatura a film [Literature and film] (2016) and the editor of Ze srebrnego ekranu na papier. Ślady sztuki filmowej w literaturze [From the Silver Screen to Paper. Traces of Film in Literature] (2019). She is also the author of Film w prozie Jakuba Żulczyka [Film in Jakub Żulczyk’s Prose] (2020). She has published numerous articles on movies and television series.
